We are hiring an experienced cost and methods technician 

Job Title: Estimating and Methods Technician (M/F)

Contract type: temporary position with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent contract, or a permanent contract with a renewable probationary period

Start date: based on availability

Compensation: to be determined based on qualifications and experience

Your responsibilities:

PREPARING QUOTES:

Analysis of technical drawings and specifications
Assessment of the technical feasibility of parts and calculation of material, manufacturing, and subcontracting costs
Consultation with suppliers
Preparation of quotes and sales proposals

METHODS:

Definition of the manufacturing process
Development of manufacturing work plans
Preparation of the technical dossier
Selection of production resources & optimization of production times and costs

PRODUCT LINES & PARTS LISTS:

Creating and updating bills of materials and work instructions
Managing quantities released to production and coordinating batching
Issuing production orders and material requirements plans for the logistics manager

TRACKING CUSTOMER ORDERS & CUSTOMERS:

Preparation & launch of production
Monitoring of progress & deadlines
Ensuring compliance prior to delivery

Strengthening customer relationships through technical quality, clarifying requests, and proposing alternatives when appropriate
Ensuring alignment between commitments and delivery
Ensuring feasibility, profitability, and compliance

Qualifications

Substantial experience in a similar position

Independence, thoroughness, and organization

Able to work in an environment that demands high quality and precision
